Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a leading PE-backed firm who is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Technical) to join their dedicated Accounting and Finance team. This role is essential for strengthening our financial processes and ensuring accuracy and compliance in our operations.
Title: Senior Technical Accountant
Location: Hybrid – greater Evansville, IN area
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance the reconciliation processes, building out and formalizing procedures.
• Research, develop, and update accounting policies and documentation.
• Serve as an internal audit resource by testing control areas and ensuring compliance.
• Assist with the financial close process and related activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar accounting role, with a strong technical accounting background.
• Ability to manage complex reconciliations and enhance financial processes.
• Experience in policy development and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like IFS or Epicor is a plus, but not required.
