Maintenance Mechanic

• Located Near to Port Union, OH
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available
• Manufacturing Plant
• $30 - $35 per hour

We are working with leading Manufacturing Companies who are currently seeking Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. These are full-time, permanent positions offering excellent long-term career potential, competitive salary, and a full benefits package.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to improve efficiency and safety.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and utilize the CMMS system for scheduling and reporting.
• Support site safety, quality, and reliability initiatives across all areas of the plant.
• Install and connect power supply wiring, conduit, and cables for equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated maintenance issues from junior technicians
• Read schematics and maintenance manuals to perform repairs and installations
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians as needed

Qualifications & Experience required:

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance, ideally within manufacturing
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, manuals, and safety rules
• Preferred experience in both mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE and physical demands such as standing, kneeling, or handling tools for extended periods
