Licensed Clinical Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based practices. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical research, crisis intervention, and the ability to navigate complex systems within a hospital or healthcare setting. The LCSW will also adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including crisis intervention and mental health counseling.
• Utilize Christian counseling techniques when appropriate, fostering a supportive environment for clients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Engage in clinical research and data collection to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Educate clients about medical terminology relevant to their treatment and empower them through knowledge.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in social work.

Experience

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
• Valid LCSW license in the state of practice.
• Experience in mental health counseling, particularly within hospital settings, is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical research methodologies is advantageous.
• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and the ability to work effectively within complex systems.
• A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to HIPAA standards is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
