Working Conditions

• This position is located in the Riverpoint Marketplace area of West Sacramento near the IKEA. Our building offers a free parking lot to employees and is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops.

Special Requirements

All job applicants must provide their employment history on the application form (State Application STD 678) rather than attaching a resume to the form, otherwise the application may be considered incomplete.

2. Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If you are meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, you must include your unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification. Official transcripts may be required upon appointment. If it is determined a candidate does not meet the Minimum Qualifications, the candidate will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position. Candidates who have been withheld may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board.

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

Accountant Trainee Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)

A complete Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required to be submitted along with your state application in order to be considered for an interview. The SOQ should be typed in 12-point font, single-spaced, on letter sized paper (8.5” x11”), and limited to one page. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing.

1. Please describe your knowledge, skills, and experience with accounting based operational duties.

2. This position involves reviewing and validating information from various sources to meet the project deadlines. Please provide an example of when information needed to meet deadline was missing and steps taken to resolve issue.

Required Application Package Documents
