Position Overview:
The Wash Bay Technician is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment. This role helps ensure our fleet and machinery are safe, clean, and ready to use. In addition, the Wash Bay Technician's work represents the professional image of Genesis Farms in the industry, helping to uphold the company’s reputation for quality and care.
Responsibilities:
· Wash, clean, and detail trucks, trailers, and farm equipment inside and out
· Wax vehicles and equipment as needed
· Operate pressure washers, cleaning tools, and other wash bay equipment safely and effectively
· Perform basic visual inspections to note damage, leaks, or maintenance needs
· Maintain a clean and organized bay area
· Assist with light shop or yard duties as needed
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Skills & Qualifications:
· Must be able to safely move semi-trucks within parking lot and yard areas
· Ability to operate and maneuver various types of farm equipment and forklifts
· Able to work outside in all weather conditions
· Experience with pressure washers, cleaning tools, and basic detailing preferred
· Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
· Ability to work independently and follow instructions
· Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
· Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus but not required)
Schedule & Pay:
· Full-time, year-round employment
· Work hours: 12:00 PM (noon) – 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays
· Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience (BOE)
· Benefits package available (health, dental, retirement, etc.)
