Position Overview
We are seeking a creative field visual merchandiser for our Brand Image Coordinator vacancy – the role is situated within Central London
Please understand travel around Central London is an essential requirement for the remit – also early starts to start work at 7am are often required for the remit.
The role is to ensure the implementation of the Ralph Lauren seasonally visual merchandising guidelines, executing mannequins, interiors and window displays, that enhance/create the best customer experience, protect and promote our visual Ralph Lauren global DNA and support/drive sales within our own brought stores and/or our shop in shop (wholesale) stores
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
· Be knowledgeable with our seasonally visual guidelines – ensure they implemented within your region
· Manage and implement seasonal updates/product pushes for each shop/ shop in shop in your region
· Create visually appealing merchandising that enhances Ralph Lauren DNA and maximizes sales potential
· Keep in communicate and partnering with the relevant teams with changeover dates/delivery status/capabilities of your region
· Collaborate with store teams to maintain visual standards and merchandising
· Train store teams on basic merchandising principles, maintenance, internal seasonal guidelines and provide seasonal training for the teams within your region
· Create and develop all seasonal floor plans
· Planning and implementing any new store opening, if scheduled within your region
· Enhance sales through visual merchandising that is in line with the company’s strategy
Reporting & Communication
· Utilise sales figures to support your visual merchandising
· Feedback callouts and opportunities to the relevant internal departments
· Communicate with the relevant departments/people using the Ralph Lauren Store visit report sent weekly on a Friday
· Travel and expenses reported on time and accurately
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Skills
· Proven knowledge in Visual Merchandising within a Retail environment
· Strong understanding of Retail principles and Visual Merchandising techniques
· Strong communications skills, both verbal and written in English
· Strong organizational skills especially in time management
· Attention to detail
· Willingness to travel and also outside of their allocated region
· Ability to work flexible hours especially early mornings
· Ability to move merchandise and deco/props stand for extended periods – reasonable adjustments requirements will be taken in to account
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience/training in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Design or related field
· Experience with Luxury or Fashion retail brands -
Photography skills
