Job Description

Bard College?s low-residency MBA in Sustainability program, based in New York City, has two openings for visiting faculty to teach summer and fall semester 2025 courses focused on Leading Change in Organizations, with a mission-driven focus. For the summer course, experience in the power sector is preferred, not required.

Bard?s MBA program fully integrates sustainability into a business curriculum, with students mastering the business case for sustainability, understanding how to align profit with social and environmental goals. In addition, all courses cultivate the development of business leadership for justice in organizations and in impact. The low-residency format allows flexibility in residential location.

MBA faculty members are expected to have earned a Ph.D., J.D., M.B.A., M.A., or equivalent degree. Successful candidates will have a record of excellence in teaching, and professional experience leading change in businesses or non-profit organizations. For more information about Bard?s MBA program, visit the MBA website .

To apply, send a cover letter, CV, and names and contact information for three references to Interfolio. In your cover letter, please address how you could contribute to the program's goals with regard to teaching antiracist business practices and diversity, equity, and inclusion more broadly.

Applications will be reviewed as received.

Compensation: $12,000 (one course)

This salary range reflects the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for the position at the time of the job posting. Salary decisions are dependent on several factors including but not limited to market and organizational considerations, experience, and qualifications of a selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
