We are looking for motivated team players dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine to join our group of exceptionally talented specialists and veterinary support staff. Our specialty departments include critical care; surgery (soft tissue, orthopedics, laparoscopy); neurology/neurosurgery; oncology; ophthalmology; cardiology; and rehabilitation. Imaging/diagnostics include MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound.

We are looking for a Board-Certified Oncologist to join a motivated team players dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine to join our group of exceptionally talented specialists and veterinary support staff

At Guardian Veterinary Specialists, we diagnose and treat a wide range of cancers—both common and rare—in dogs and cats, including:

  • Bladder cancer.
  • Brain tumors.
  • Fibrosarcoma (soft-tissue cancer).
  • Gastrointestinal cancers including stomach, esophagus and colon.
  • Hemangiosarcoma.
  • Hepatocellular (liver) cancer.
  • Leukemia.
  • Lung cancer.
  • Lymphoma.
  • Mammary cancer.
  • Mast cell tumors.
  • Melanoma.
  • Multiple myeloma.
  • Nasal tumors.
  • Nerve sheath cancer.
  • Oral tumors.
  • Osteosarcoma (bone cancer).
  • Squamous cell (skin) cancer.
  • Thyroid cancer.

  • A clinical trial in which electrogene transfer (EGT) is used as a new tool for cancer immunotherapy in animals.
  • A progressive new therapy for treating urethral/bladder cancer using a custom electrode that inserts like a urinary catheter; we are the only facility in the world currently offering this option. 

Qualified applicants for this role:

  • Love of animals and a passion to help and heal, first and foremost.

  • Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Oncology.
  • Must be open to working overnights.
