Kissimmee Animal Hospital has provided world-class veterinary service to companion animals and pocket pets for nearly fifty years. Our hospital is an AAHA-Accredited hospital that continuously maintains ambitious standards and client-centered service. Our practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment to provide pets in the area with the best possible treatment. Kissimmee Animal Hospital provides wellness exams, puppy and kitten care, senior care, pain management, and surgery. We offer dental and digital radiography through board-certified radiologists, ultrasounds, and a fully stocked pharmacy in-house.

Job Description



Job duties include, but are not limited to:

We are seeking a compassionate and driven team member who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to both our clients and their beloved pets. This dynamic role combines the warm hospitality of front desk responsibilities with the hands-on clinical support essential to patient care.

Qualifications



We’re looking for:

Assistant Skills:

  • An experienced Veterinary Assistant with a minimum of 1-year experience preferred.
  • Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
  • Must be able to properly restrain pets.
  • Proficient in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring are a bonus!
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.

Receptionist Skills: 

  • Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience  preferred
  • Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
  • Highly organized and possess computer skills
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
