UCB is looking for a Marketing, Insights and Customer-oriented undergraduate student to intern with the Global Insights Excellence Team. Students must have an interest Marketing, Market Research / Insights, and/or Communications.
The Insights Excellence Team operates within the Global Integrated Insights Team, which manages and delivers high quality actionable insights across all UCB businesses. The Integrated Insights Team comprises experts in Primary Market Research, Advanced Analytics, and Competitive Intelligence, who work closely with the businesses in all regions (with a focus on the United States and Europe).The Insights Excellence Team operates a wide range of initiatives to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our Insights delivery. If you are interested in Marketing or Market Research, this internship will give you meaningful operational experience in how Insights work can positively impact a business and its customers.
Responsibilities may include:
• Providing support to team members implementing and managing a new AI-enabled Market Research knowledge management system
• Testing and validating the application of Generative AI tools in Market Research applications.
• Using advanced Generative AI tools to test and refine Insights materials and communications
• Assisting Market Researchers, Marketers and Executives successfully access, navigate, and learn a new Insights knowledge management system
Learning objectives include:
• Direct exposure to how Marketers and Executives access and use Market Research and Insights in their everyday work
• Leveraging Generative AI tools in real-world business applications
• Real world application of Communication, Training, and Change Management techniques to drive change within a global organization.
Qualifications
EXAMPLE OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Middle or Upper-level undergraduate student studying business, marketing, market research or similar disciplines
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Comfortable picking up new technologies, tools, etc. on your own through experimentation, trial & error, etc.
Comfortable using standard currently available Generative AI Tools (e.g. Chat GPT, Microsoft CoPilot, etc.)
Detail-oriented, thorough, and methodical
