Technical Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to sell complex products or services to businesses. Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, identifying their technical needs and challenges to propose customized solutions.
• Technical Expertise : Use your deep understanding of product features, specifications, and applications to explain how products meet customer requirements.
• Solution Design : Collaborate with clients to tailor product configurations and services, including system integration, to meet their specific needs.
• Proposal Development : Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotes, highlighting product benefits and addressing customer concerns.
• Presentations & Demonstrations : Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demos to showcase product capabilities and answer customer questions.
• Market Analysis : Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and enhance sales strategies.
• Sales Support : Work closely with the sales team to qualify leads, provide technical expertise during the sales process, and close deals.
• Post-Sales Support : Offer ongoing technical assistance to customers during implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of the technical aspects of the products/services being sold, including design principles, functionality, and applications.
• Sales Skills : Proven track record of building relationships, qualifying leads, negotiating deals, and closing sales.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Presentation Skills : Ability to confidently deliver presentations and demos to potential clients.
• Problem-Solving : Ability to analyze customer needs, identify challenges, and develop effective technical solutions.
• Collaboration : Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support.

Preferred Experience

• Background in Manufacturing Engineering
• Previous experience in a Technical Sales or Engineering support role.

Travel Requirements
