Our Akamai Information Technology organization is a team of industry leading professionals. We are dedicated to owning and driving the innovation of Akamai's Corporate Infrastructure. Information Technology manages all aspects of the IT Program Lifecycle as well as the coordination and delivery of key cross-organizational strategic programs.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will have end-to-end accountability for the delivery of projects and programs. You will lead strategic and complex programs from planning to sustainment, while reporting program benefits to key stakeholders.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing complex, cross-functional multi-year projects and programs
  • Managing stakeholder engagement and expectations
  • Presenting and reporting to all levels of the business from team members to executives
  • Identifying risks and issues, demonstrating proactive problem solving in complex environments
  • Defining detailed program / project plans and ensure team members are accountable for their activities
  • Adopting best-practice guidelines and implement continuous improvements to PMO processes

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in business management or its equivalent
  • Have professional experience as a Program Manager, Business Analyst, or Consultant
  • Be highly curious with ability to learn quickly and desire to learn
  • Have solid analytical, problem solving, polished communication skills
  • Be able to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse corporate and client environment

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $70,500 - $146,500/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
