Job Summary (List Format):


- Assist surgical team members under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for general surgical procedures.
- Ensure understanding of the assigned surgical procedure and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
- Support patient preparation and patient transport as needed.
- Provide building services and assist with specific patient care duties to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Respond to emergent situations following established procedures.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.
- Coordinate with other healthcare staff to facilitate efficient surgical operations.
- Perform duties in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
- May require lifting, positioning, and transporting patients as part of duties.
