Job Description

Summary: The primary responsibility for this role is to coordinate material deliveries from suppliers, between warehouses, and across manufacturing plants to meet production requirements.

Essential Functions :

• Coordinate the movement of materials between plants.
• Interface with logistics and suppliers to coordinate timely material delivery.
• Responsible for problem resolution for film delivery between logistics and suppliers.
• Interface with internal customers regarding material needs.
• Monitor and resolve material issues in relation to scheduled orders.
• Verify material availability for scheduled orders and upon internal request.
• Adjust orders to support combination orders.
• Execute plans for aged materials.
• Create and coordinate internal orders for material processing.
• Execute material plan within a 6-week window based on projections, including substitutions and other tasks.
• Create, maintain and distribute daily shortage reports, work center activities, weekly projection tools, inventory and open order reports in a timely manner.
• Monitor delivery appointments and adjust as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal IT resources for solutions.
• Support cross-functional teams and suppliers by providing and receiving information, ensuring responsive and appropriate communication.
• Manager aged inventory levels to meet production requirements while minimizing age.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics:

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage change effectively.
• Basic computer/data entry computer skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, Excel proficiency required.
