**Structural/Pipe Fitter - Night Shift** **Pay:** $25-$30 per hour **Location:** Jacksonville, FL **Schedule:** + **Night Shift:** Mon-Thu: 4:30 PM - 3:15 AM + Fri: 2:30 PM - 11:15 PM + Sat: 12 PM - 6 PM + **Training:** May occur on first shift (Mon-Fri, 6 AM - 2:45 PM) **Job Description:** **We are seeking an experienced** **Structural/Pipe Fitter** **to join our growing team.** You will primarily work with **carbon and stainless steel** , fabricating pipes and structural steel for **certified tanks and pressure vessels** used in water filtration and other high-pressure systems. Units can stand up to **13 feet** , so comfort with heights is essential. You may also need to enter tanks-this role is not suitable for those with claustrophobia. **All pressure vessel fabricators must pass a fluxcore X-ray weld test** and be capable of cutting their own metal. You will read blueprints, perform layouts, assemble, and fit structural steel components or pressure-containing equipment. **Responsibilities** + Fabricate and fit pipes or structural steel for tanks and pressure vessels + Work at heights up to 13 feet and enter tanks as needed + Pass a fluxcore X-ray weld test + Cut your own metal and read blueprints/drawings + Perform layouts, assemble, and fit structural steel components **Essential Skills** + 2-5+ years of industrial fabrication experience + Proficiency in reading blueprints and drawings + Experience with **½"-12" Steel Pipe - Schedule 40** + Skilled in fitting and fabricating pipes for hydrostatic or pressure testing + Expertise in fluxcore welding and metal fabrication **Preferred Qualifications** + Fluxcore welding certification or equivalent experience + Experience as a structural fitter or pressure vessel fabricator + Combo welder/fabricator capability **Why Join Us?** + Rapidly growing company with opportunities for advancement + Pay increase potential after permanent hire + Two annual bonuses and regular evaluations for raises + Be part of a team transforming the site into a world-class facility **Work Environment** Heavy industrial setting in an older facility with an outside open-air shop.
