Four 10's and three-day weekends! Full training, benefits, support. ** All travel is paid for by Harbor and may comprise 50% of the SSR position **

Harbor is looking for field merchandising/sales/DSD direct experience. This positions covers a large travel area of Livermore, Pleasanton, San Francisco, Richmond, Oakland, San Jose, Monterey, Santa Cruz. A company vehicle is used for this position.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, four 10-hr shifts. Three day weekends always.

Pay: $23-24/hr. per hour + all expenses for travel paid; a full benefit package and Harbor perks!

Essential Job Functions:

• Reset stores, implement planograms, adjust shelving, and install shelf tags.
• Perform merchandising services at store level as requested and scheduled by RSM.
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and cleaning of product and shelves as needed.
• Rearranges store shelves or display areas as close to company approved planograms as possible, to improve sales.
• Monitors potential account problems at the store level and reports issues to the Territory Sales Manager/RSM.
• May place order for entire store (all categories.)
• May put away customers’ order when necessary.
• Light sales of promotional book or contest involvement.
• Provide pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and rack implementation for all perishable and date-sensitive SKU’s/categories.
• Increase sales and gross profit within assigned customer base.
• Maintain a safe work environment in the stores.
• Follow carefully the standards and organization in all sets of product as outlined by company standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read and write English.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence

Education and Experience:

• Customer service experience required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in Merchandising.
• Sales and retail work experience highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• This can be a physical job requiring occasional lift/carrying of 20-50 pounds

Although a company vehicle is used in this role, all final candidates must successfully pass a drug screen, criminal background check and MVR report for insurance purposes.
