Staff Accountant – Onsite | Cerritos, CA

A well-established company in the global logistics and supply chain space is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate office in Cerritos. The team is collaborative and hands-on, and this role offers exposure to both daily transactional accounting and monthly reporting processes.

Compensation : Up to $26/hr in base salary

Location : Must be able to work onsite in Cerritos, CA (Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm)

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–3 years of general accounting experience
• Comfortable with reconciliations, journal entries, and invoice processing
• Familiar with supporting a structured month-end close process
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Open to candidates from any industry or background with relevant accounting exposure

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Record daily journal entries and support expense tracking
• Process employee reimbursements and review petty cash activity
• Assist with invoice entry and payment processing for various vendors
• Maintain basic schedules related to accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets
• Support the month-end close process, including account reconciliations
• Help review internal financial reports and assist with special projects as needed
