Job Title: SRE - Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated SRE Engineer who thrives in troubleshooting complex systems, taking initiative, and driving solutions independently. Our infrastructure is built on aws EKS and we need someone who is passionate, motivated, and excited about data around our Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and the many pieces that make up our Tier 1 Ordering application.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of tasks, drive solutions, and continuously improve processes.
• Strong data-driven mindset.
• Communicate what is working well, what isn't, and plans for improvement.
• Establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting for critical pipelines.
• Identify quick-win improvements.
• Manage and troubleshoot AWS EKS clusters to ensure reliability and performance.
• Continuously work on improving team practices.
• Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and compliance requirements; collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Work with other SREs on configuration management at scale.
• Collaborate with SWEs and SREs to define software release processes-from source code management to deployment.
• Proactively reduce toil, improve efficiency, and support capacity planning.
• Promote a culture of shared responsibility.

• Internal: IT Developers, IT Directors, IT Architecture, USF Business Professionals

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps
• 3+ years with automation tools & CI systems (Bamboo, Chef, Git, etc.)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes & Docker
