Job Title: Service Coordinator - Early Intervention (Bilingual Spanish) – Telehealth
Location: Telehealth - New York City (Accepting cases in all boroughs)
Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Contract

Competent Care is an accredited Early Intervention Program in New York City, staffed with New York State licensed and certified professionals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for families enrolled in the Early Intervention Program, facilitating communication between families, service providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the delivery of EI services, ensuring all services align with the child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Monitor progress and compliance with IFSP goals, providing updates and support as needed.
  • Conduct virtual meetings with families and multidisciplinary teams to discuss and review IFSP outcomes and services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation, including progress reports, service logs, and communication notes, in compliance with NYC EI Program regulations.
  • Educate families about available resources and services within their communities and guide them in accessing additional supports.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NYC Early Intervention policies, procedures, and telehealth practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required).
  • Must live in NYS.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s  Degree in a "helping" profession
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Service Coordinator in the Early Intervention Program.
  • Strong understanding of the NYC Early Intervention system, including compliance and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and basic technology for virtual service delivery.
  • Compassionate and family-centered approach to service coordination, with a commitment to empowering families.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
