Role:
As a Senior Java Developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile manner. If youre looking for the chance to not just develop software, but to help create a system that will make a difference, we need you on our team. Were looking for an experienced developer like you with the skills needed to develop software and systems from early-vision to production-ready.

This role is more than just coding. As a Senior Java Developer with our client, Booz Allen, youll use your passion to lead a team of developers and continuously identify system improvements. Youll help clients overcome their most difficult software engineering challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. Youll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, including future functionality and enhancements. Your mentorship of junior software developers will help shape the next generation of Java Developers.

You Have: 

• 7+ years of experience with Java and modern system architecture principles, including microservices or APIs
• Experience leading the deconstruction of large requirements into well-defined workable user tasks
• Experience working in a cross-functional Agile environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Ability to drive technical discussions and conversations
• Bachelors degree

Nice If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in direct client interaction
• 2+ years of experience leading a software development team
• Experience with project leadership
• Experience as a Technical Lead or Technical Lead Manager
• Masters degree
