Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Senior IT Sourcing Specialist - Oil and Gas for our client, a leading organization in the tech industry. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and professional IT solutions. You will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with industry standards, all while making a significant impact on the company's overall procurement strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for hardware, software, cloud services, and professional IT solutions.
• Evaluate and manage vendor performance, ensuring third-party risk and compliance are thoroughly assessed.
• Optimize Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems to improve procurement workflows.
• Lead RFP processes, negotiate vendor contracts, and execute agreements to secure favorable terms.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, IT, and procurement teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal procurement policies.
• Monitor market trends and vendor performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) preferred.
• Proven experience in IT strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of IT procurement processes, including hardware, software, cloud services, and professional IT services.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex procurement challenges.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in procurement and vendor management.
