Senior Living Facility Security Officer

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Tuesday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Thursday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Saturday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Location: [Specific location of senior living facility - City, State] Must reside in the Cutler Bay, Homestead, or Kendall area.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our residents, staff, and property at our senior living facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong presence, able to de-escalate situations, enforce regulations, and provide excellent customer service. This is a night shift position.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol the facility grounds and buildings on foot, monitoring for suspicious activity and ensuring the safety of residents and staff.
• Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches, following established protocols.
• Enforce parking rules and regulations, issuing warnings or citations as necessary.
• Write detailed incident reports, documenting any security-related events or issues.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
• Provide assistance to residents and staff as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Prior security experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write clear and concise reports.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work the specified schedule.
• Must reside in the Cutler Bay, Homestead, or Kendall area.
