JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Cabinet Finisher I - Weekend Days Shift
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $24.50/hour

Summary:
Under direct supervision, learns entry-level technical skills, regulatory requirements, and tooling used in the Cabinet Finish shop.
Continues developing technical competency and problem-solving abilities to advance to technician level.
Follows standard safety and operating procedures, using engineering drawings, tools, and materials such as sandpaper, polishes, adhesives, solvents, and masking mediums to develop proficiency in cabinet preparation and finishing.
Utilizes the material tracking system to create parts demands, track squawks, and sign off completed work.
Complies with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies.
Uses personal protective equipment and ensures aircraft interiors are protected (PTP).
Assists in related initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in woodworking, wood finishing, or auto body and painting in a technical environment preferred.
Completion of a Technical Certificate in cabinetmaking and/or a current-year youth apprenticeship program in a relevant field is also preferred.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift.
Must be computer literate.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
