A DAY IN THE LIFE Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery Prepare, set up, and operate metalworking machinery or equipment. Operate machinery or equipment to cut, bend, or crease metal parts. Inspect products for conformity to shape, size, or other standards. Investigate the cause of problems and make minor repairs. Clean and lubricate machinery and replace defective parts as needs Setting up manufacturing equipment Read and/or follow verbal instructions. Completes daily housekeeping in assigned area. Completes daily inspections of machinery Ensures quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing product. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Previous work experienceas a machine or equipment operator Familiarity with Rolling Mill/Rolling Form machine an asset Mechanically inclined and able to perform general maintenanceonequipment Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly and effectively Rigging and Overhead Crane experience an asset Forklift certification an asset Ability to use measurement tools Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong commitment to safety OTHERDETAILS Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation. Must have CSA approved safety boots. Overtime required as needed Why PTW?
