Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Title Closer to process and close real estate transactions from contract through post-closing. The successful candidate will have extensive experience independently processing and closing real estate transactions as well as handling post-closing tasks, and a well-rounded skill set that includes superior customer service and thorough analysis of transaction details.   • Coordinate and facilitate residential and/or commercial real estate closings
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all parties involved in the transaction
  • Review title commitments and ensure all requirements are satisfied prior to closing
  • Prepare and review closing statements (CD/ALTA Settlement Statements)
  • Prepare and review all required closing documents for buyers and sellers
  • Balance transaction and verify closing funds in accordance with lender instructions and company policy
  • Prepare transactions for funding, including cutting checks for disbursements
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documents are properly signed, notarized, and recorded
  • Review and organize executed closing documents
  • Record deeds, mortgages, and other required documents with the appropriate county offices
  • Return signed documents to lenders and other involved parties
  • Maintain and archive complete and accurate closing files
Qualifications:
  • Must be a Florida Licensed Notary Public
  • Title Agent License is a plus, but not imperative
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and with a team
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be computer proficient, especially with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer proficiency with numerous programs, including MS Office, is needed
  • Excellent research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills are needed
