We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to join the team at Queens Hospital in Jamaica, NY. This is a full-time, contract role requiring strong diagnostic imaging skills and the ability to work effectively in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience and be fully committed to the schedule provided.
Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures, including X-rays, in accordance with physician orders
Ensure patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and in compliance with radiation safety protocols
Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the hospital’s EMR system
Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Days: Schedule based on facility need (confirm during interview)
Facility Type: Acute care hospital (NYC Health + Hospitals – Queens)
Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License
ARRT (R) Certification
Hospital experience required
CPR/BLS Certification
Ability to commit fully to the assigned schedule
Preferred:
Experience with PACS and EMR systems
Knowledge of infection control and radiation safety protocols in hospital settings
