Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our research-focused team within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The successful candidate will engage in clinical psychology research, manage research projects, disseminate findings, and provide teaching and mentoring to research staff and students. This role also involves training clinical researchers and therapists, developing recruitment strategies, and contributing to the broader research efforts within the department.

Job Duties

• Engage in clinical psychology research within the department.
• Provide project management for clinical psychology research studies, including hiring involvement, ethics oversight, other regulatory requirements, and oversight of project deliverables.
• Dissemination of clinical research projects and results, including hiring involvement, ethics oversight, other regulatory requirements, and oversight of project deliverables.
• Dissemination of clinical research projects and results, including presentation and meetings with community academic groups, and coordination with advocacy organizations.
• Provide training to clinical researchers, and therapists on procedures including therapy manuals, and experimental tasks.
• Provide teaching and mentoring to research coordinators, students, and volunteers working on associated research studies and within the research group.
• Provide development of participant recruitment and retention strategies for clinical research studies.
• Perform other duties not specified at this time.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. from APA (or equivalent) accredited program.
• Experience in psychology education, preferably with experience overseeing graduate student learning.
• Licensed or license eligible in state of Texas
