About the Role:
In this role, you'll provide one-on-one counseling to adults facing various challenges, including chronic conditions, disabilities, and life changes, as they navigate their WorkLife wellness. Your primary focus will be supporting clients in achieving their career and personal goals, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being.

This is an hourly, 1099 contractor position. We aim to support you in building your caseload to a minimum of 16 billable hours per week, with a goal of achieving a rolling average of 26 billable hours per week within 90 days after paneling is complete.

What You'll Do:
Provide compassionate and effective one-on-one telehealth counseling to adult clients.
Collaborate with clients to develop and regularly review personalized treatment goals.
Support clients in managing complex dynamics and conflicts affecting their relationships and career journeys.
Educate clients on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and healthy behaviors.
Connect clients with valuable community resources and support networks.
Maintain accurate and timely client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Collaborate with other mental health professionals for comprehensive client care.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the counseling field through ongoing professional development.
Prioritize self-care to maintain your well-being and prevent burnout.
Utilize culturally sensitive communication strategies to effectively support diverse client populations.
Participate in required supervision, mentorship, company meetings and training sessions.
Publish and monitor a consistent work schedule for client and administrative appointments.
What You'll Need:
Required:
A Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling, clinical mental health counseling, career counseling, social work (including a clinical counseling internship), or a related field.
Provisionally or fully licensed in Colorado to provide behavioral health services as a professional counselor or social worker.
At least one year of professional experience in a direct support role (e.g., human services, education, behavioral health, public health, vocational rehabilitation) involving one-on-one coaching, training, or counseling with diverse adult populations.
Ability to maintain a minimum weekly average of 16 billable client hours.
Commitment to completing and submitting accurate documentation promptly.
Ability to provide telehealth services in compliance with confidentiality and privacy requirements.
Access to a secure, private workspace with reliable internet and a computer equipped with a camera and microphone.
Preferred:
Fully licensed in Colorado as a professional counselor, advanced generalist social worker, or clinical social worker.
Experience working with Medicaid populations or a willingness to learn.
One to three years of experience providing one-on-one counseling in a telehealth setting.
Experience applying models of psychosocial development, medical aspects of disability, and career development.
Comfortable with rapid change, navigating communication, and engaging in a primarily remote setting.
