Position Summary

Post Frame Product Specialists assemble material lists for a wide variety of post frame buildings - from basic cold storage buildings to business facilities and barndominiums. Using Midwest Manufacturing's exclusive estimating software along with product knowledge and basic math skills, Estimators will calculate the materials required for a guest's Post Frame project. Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with guests and Menards store Team Members to address building designs
• Provide guidance to guests throughout the building process
• Complete material list estimates for post frame building projects
• Design many different types and styles of custom post frame buildings
• Close post frame building sales by being a resource to guests and store Team Members

Additional Responsibilities

• Work as part of a close-knit team communicating any questions/concerns and brainstorming solutions
• Use construction knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve post frame design issues
• Any additional estimating functions and special projects as assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma / GED
• Strong attention to detail and able to work collectively
• Exceptional guest service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work within designated normal office hours assigned or required by work

Preferred Qualifications

• Some construction knowledge
• Knowledge of CAD
• Able to read and understand blue print drawings
• Degree in related field or equivalent Menards experience
