We're looking for a Piping Designer to join our Industrial/Energy team at our Wichita location. This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include refineries, ammonia/fertilizer plants, logistics/terminals, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Support the project team and design engineer with P&ID and 3D model development.
• Plan and develop drawings for production work including problem analysis, design layout, and calculations.
• Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings, as directed by engineers and project managers.
• Assist the project team with meeting client expectations and schedules.
• Effectively communicate design requirements and collaborate with other disciplines of the company.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in drafting preferred.
• Familiarity with oil and gas piping and equipment specifications and drawing standards.
• Experience working with P&IDs, field sketches, and isometric drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 3D and CADWorx.
• Experience with 3D point clouds is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure, be self-directed, exhibit good business judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately.
• Able to meet the physical demands of site visits in client facilities and related travel.
• Compliance with MKEC and client drug/alcohol and safety programs.
