The primary function of the Pallet Builder position is to assemble wood pallets of all sizes using basic hand tools, saws, and nail guns in accordance with specifications and safety protocols.

Job Duties:
  1. Ensure implementation of Company safety, health, and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed.  Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
  2. Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures and adheres the Company’s procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (“EH&S”), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline/corrective action, and security.
  3. Assemble wood pallets according to specifications and standards.
  4. Utilize basic hand tools, saws, and nail guns to complete tasks.
  5. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  6. Repair damaged or broken pallets as needed.
  7. Inspect finished pallets for quality and make any necessary adjustments.
  8. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday 40+ hours.
  • Must be able to read/write.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in pallet assembly or woodworking industry.
  • Familiarity with various types of wood and wood materials.
  • Experience using basic hand tools, saws, and nail guns is a MUST.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience using hand tools, nail guns, etc.
  • Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, or logistics experience are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements – Essential
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle, feel and reach for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must have a good sense of balance & good eye-hand-foot coordination.
