Starting salary $50k+ based on experience

As a music therapist, you will:
Complete music therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver engaging, goal-driven music therapy sessions
Track progress and prepare quarterly reports
Collaborate with families, team members, and the Waiver Services Director
Maintain accurate documentation and timely billing
Protect client confidentiality and follow HIPAA standards
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive clinical culture
Bachelor’s degree in music therapist
MT-BC certification designated by the Certification Board of Music Therapists
CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain)
Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Positive, professional, team-oriented attitude
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Work Environment
This music therapist position will work in a professional office setting. Sessions will also occur in the client’s home or community-based facilities.

Travel
Therapist will not transport clients; however, will travel to the locations of each session (client’s home or community-based facilities) not to exceed 30 miles.
