**Position Title: Mortgage Consultant**

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Mortgage Consultant to join our team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with potential clients, drive sales, and engage with the community through various events. Your primary focus will be on the solicitation and origination of mortgage products, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies. You will play a key role in helping us achieve our branch production goals as outlined in our annual business plan.

**Education Requirements:**
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Reach out to real estate firms, builders, and other industry professionals to establish relationships that generate referrals for mortgage and construction loans, as well as other relevant products.
- Attend real estate and community events to foster sales relationships and enhance goodwill within the community, such as Chamber of Commerce meetings and builder associations.
- Provide daily rate sheets to real estate agents, builders, and other industry participants to keep them informed.
- Originate loans in accordance with regulatory, agency, and corporate guidelines.

**Experience Requirements:**
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience is required.
- At least 18 months of experience as a mortgage loan originator is preferred.

- A proven track record of success in attentive listening, meeting deadlines under pressure, and building effective relationships.
