To be a successful Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant will embody GBSI's core employee characteristics of being passionate about IT, taking full ownership of your work & having a growth mindset. Additionally, you will exhibit strategic vision, thoughtful engagement, strong analytical/process skills, a bias for action, and the ability to partner with senior operational leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Design, configure, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for shipping, warehousing, and EDI operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize warehouse management processes, including inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and logistics.
• Develop and maintain EDI integrations to facilitate real-time data exchange with vendors, carriers, and customers.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and provide ongoing support to resolve issues.
• Train end-users and document processes to ensure smooth system adoption.
• Stay up-to-date with Dynamics 365 updates and recommend enhancements to improve system performance.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 10+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Supply Chain, Finance, or Commerce modules).
• Deep understanding of shipping, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Hands-on experience with EDI systems and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
• Strong knowledge of system integration and data mapping techniques.
• Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
