Job Description

The Marketing & Business Development Intern will play an integral role in supporting the Marketing & Business Development Team. We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and collaborative individual who is passionate about digital marketing and communication. This intern will contribute to content creation, global engagement efforts, engagement event planning, and updates to marketing materials, templates, and graphics in support of the Business Development Team’s strategic campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in developing and implementing tactics to engage our global teams on digital platforms, staying up to date with trends in social media and digital communication, and helping create assets for internal and external campaigns. Your scope of work will also help make recommendations to improve internal & external engagement across Nextern’s digital presence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with developing marketing and sales initiatives, including writing and editing content, targeted campaign support, and monitoring performance
• Engage with individuals in various business units and global sites to implement marketing & communication tactics that build a story about the global Nextern culture and employee experience
• Build tools and helpful templates for Business Development teams
• Support the development of digital assets such as graphics & video for integrated marketing communications to support the business development team
• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal communications and announcements using our internal communications platforms
• Assist in driving our culture through employee engagement events
• Follow web & social media trends, creating compelling stories that also follow industry trends
• Brand Asset Management: organizing Nextern’s branding inventory to identify stock levels and needs for branded merchandise, to recommend orders for promotional items
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to various marketing and communications projects as needed

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
