We are seeking a Locums Orthopedic Surgery Physician to join our team in Plattsburgh, NY. This position requires a physician with the ability to manage a wide range of orthopedic trauma cases in a Level III trauma center. In addition to trauma cases, the role will also involve performing elective procedures, with a primary focus on total knee and total hip replacements. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with shifts running from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Physicians may also need to accommodate late afternoon add-on cases. While there is no emergency department call or weekend operating room duties, there may be potential for weekend rounding and patient call.
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Experience in orthopedic trauma and joint replacement procedures
Active New York medical license or the ability to obtain one
