Job Description

Flat Fee Landlord is hiring a Real Estate Leasing Specialist to help drive leasing activity across our portfolio of single-family and multifamily properties. As a Leasing Specialist, you'll follow up with leads, schedule and confirm showings, convert prospects into applicants, and assist with move-ins. You’ll work primarily from our Downtown Houston office and occasionally at our apartment complex, while supporting in-field leasing tasks when needed. You’ll also have the opportunity to use your real estate license for leasing commissions or sales-related referrals. Responsibilities: Office-Based Leasing Tasks • Follow up with leasing leads via phone, text, and email to convert them into applicants • Schedule, confirm, and document property showings • Guide prospects through the leasing and application process • Maintain accurate CRM records and task tracking • Keep listings updated and property info current Onsite Apartment & Backup Leasing Support • Assist at our Houston apartment complex when onsite leasing staff are unavailable • Conduct walk-throughs, in-person showings, and move-ins as needed • Provide backup support across both multifamily and single-family units Field Support (As Needed)• Support occasional field assignments such as placing lockboxes, coordinating signage, or meeting vendors • All field tasks must be pre-approved and are compensated separately (either hourly or as a task-based bonus) • General field travel is not compensated unless previously authorized Performance-Based Focus • Lease conversion performance is rewarded through bonuses • Opportunities exist for occupancy-based bonuses and sales/referral commissions • Clear expectations around performance metrics and results-driven outcomes Qualifications: • Active Texas Real Estate License (preferred) • Bilingual (preferred) • Willing and able to work full-time, in-person at our Downtown Houston office and apartment complex • Comfortable making a high volume of follow-up calls, texts, and emails • Goal-oriented and motivated by hitting leasing targets and earning performance-based bonuses • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized and consistent with task management • Able to adapt quickly between office, onsite, and occasional field work • Tech-savvy and comfortable using platforms like Resman, AppFolio, LeadSimple, Trello, and Google Workspace (or quick to learn) About Company: If you're the kind of person who loves helping others, solves problems with a smile, and thrives in a fast-moving environment, you’ll fit right in here.
