Job Description

Junior Auditor
We are a growing, collaborative CPA firm looking to expand our team with a Junior Auditor who is eager to develop professionally. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of audit experience in a CPA firm setting. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience and contribute to our firm's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audits, reviews, and compilations from start to finish, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Prepare planning documents and conduct risk assessments for assigned clients.
- Perform internal control testing procedures to assess and improve financial operations.
- Collect and review audit evidence, ensuring well-documented audit conclusions.
- Identify issues during audits and work collaboratively with the team to offer solutions.
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and other required supplementary materials.
- Communicate clearly with the engagement team to ensure high-quality, efficient, and accurate results.
- Engage in professional development opportunities, including continuing education (CPE) and training programs.

Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- CPA license preferred but not required.
- At least 2 years of auditing experience in an accounting firm.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (knowledge of Pivot Tables is required).
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends during tax season (January-April).
