Description We are partnering with a leading toy and entertainment company looking for an experienced IP Litigation Attorney to join their in-house litigation team. This is a long-term contract role with the potential to convert to a direct hire and is hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days work from home) in Chatsworth, CA. Responsibilities: - Responsible for handling disputes, advising internal business clients, and litigating cases as counsel-of-record - Work on Intellectual Property Trademark Disputes and Employment matters, as needed. - Develop litigation strategies and evaluate claims to ensure effective case resolution. - Prepare legal filings, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents. - Provide legal advice to business clients and management regarding claims, defenses, and dispute resolution strategies. - Negotiate and draft settlement agreements and other dispute resolution documents. - Respond to third-party subpoenas. - Collaborate with and oversee work performed by external counsel as needed.
