Anju donuts of Louisville , a fun and growing franchisee of Dunkin' is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned restaurant equipment and facilities. Successful candidate will be able to install, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on convection ovens, Bunn coffee brewing/Grinding equipment,

TurboChef ovens, espresso machines, frozen beverage blenders. HVAC or Refrigeration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose commercial cooking equipment performance through observation, testing, and setup.
• Disassemble and re-assemble equipment to perform trouble shooting, preventive maintenance, and repair
• Ability to work independently and remote in multiple restaurant locations daily.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform service of unit.
• Lift, carry, pull, and push components and/or equipment to test, setup, or maintain equipment.
• Basic computer and cell phone knowledge to communicate and update restaurant and management staff on status of repairs through email and the company’s Building Engines work order management platform.
• Operate your own vehicle.
• Work flexible hours as required as well as on-call nights and weekends when assigned.
• Interpersonal skills to explain diagnosed issues and repair plan to restaurant staff.
• Possess the demeanor and willingness to educate and train restaurant staff on troubleshooting, cleaning, preventative maintenance and other procedures to promote optimal conditions for the restaurant equipment.

Requirements:

• Technical or Trade School background preferred but not required
• Diagnostic ability
• Driver’s License Required along with reliable personal vehicle
• Availability weekends, evenings, and early mornings required
• Ability to competently use a variety of gauges, meters, measuring instruments, hoists, rigging equipment, torches, and hand tools.
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and without close supervision; willing and able to consistently work the schedule required by job demands.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to tolerate environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, and poor ventilation.
