In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to use your hairstyling / hairdressing expertise to enhance the lives of residents daily. • Chair Rental: $450 per month
• Hours: Part-time

The ideal candidate will possess:

· A cosmetology license and several years of experience working with senior clients

· A warm, patient and empathetic personality

· Excellent communication skills to engage with residents

· The ability to work both independently and as part of a dedicated care team

Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairstylist / Hairdresser to join our dynamic team. As a Hairstylist / Hairdresser, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Your expertise in hairstyling/ hairdressing, combined with your outstanding customer service skills, will help us create a loyal clientele and enhance the overall experience of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet clients' needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by following sanitation protocols and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized.
• Engage with clients to understand their desired outcomes, offering professional advice on styles and products that suit their needs.
• Upsell hair care products and services to enhance client satisfaction and promote retail sales within the salon.
• Assist at the front desk as needed, including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
• Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Hairstylist / Hairdresser or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong skills in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members to ensure an enjoyable salon experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices within the beauty industry is essential.
