  • Upper GI endoscopy.
    • With biopsy.

    • With fulguration of bleeder (cautery/laser).
    • With injection of varices.
    • ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic).
    • With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy).
    • Esophageal dilatation/manometry.
    • Esophageal manometry interpretation.
    • Small bowel biopsy.
  • Lower GI endoscopy.
    • Sigmoidoscopy (flexible & rigid).
    • Colonoscopy: with biopsy, excision of polyp.
• Beds in the Dept:
  • Sylva: 86.
  • Clyde: 154.
• EMR: McKesson & Athena.
• Other Info: We would like the physicians to cover both of our hospitals while on call.
• Hospital Privileges required: Yes.
• Temporary Privileges available: Yes.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered.

Requirements:

• Active NC License.
• BC/BE.
• BLS.
• Immunizations.
