Foreign Tax Compliance and Reporting Analyst / International Tax Analyst :



- Compliance, transfer pricing, tax provision responsibilities, planning and related reporting of the US and foreign taxation for AEO’s international operations, including wholly-owned foreign entities, branches, franchises and/or joint venture relationships.  This position also includes cross-functional opportunities to partner with the domestic income tax team.

- Assisting with international income tax area including: Prepare international forms (1118, 5471, 8858, 5713, etc.) for the US income tax return

- Assist with the quarterly tax provision, effective tax rate and deferred tax calculations and reserves related to international operations

- Prepare international tax-related journal entries

- Coordinate with outside tax consultants and advisors on the preparation of foreign income tax filings and estimated payments, including the preparation of necessary documentation and work papers

- Monitor and coordinate foreign tax audits

- Assist with any US and foreign country tax planning

- Assist with transfer pricing documentation for foreign and cross-border related party transactions

- Prepare required treaty forms for reduced withholding taxes and liaise with international franchise partners

- Monitor and maintain records for withholding tax or other taxes related to international operations

- Review intercompany balances and cross-border service and royalty fees

- Research and review tax legislation and law changes to analyze impact on tax returns and tax provision

- Assist in updating tax technology documentation

- Assist with federal, state, and local corporate income tax compliance and provision preparation.  Assist the team on special projects as assigned
