Overview of the Role:

As a Sales Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting our sales strategy by providing technical insights and solutions. You’ll work closely with the sales team and customers to ensure our products and services exceed expectations and contribute to our sales and profit goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence customer relationships and product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed technical information on products, services, and equipment in response to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with customers and engineers to identify equipment needs and define system requirements.
  • Assist in developing Statements of Work (SOW) for process and batch production activities.
  • Support the sales team with resources, technical training, and innovative strategies.
  • Research new markets, identify potential customers, and generate leads.
  • Help create impactful sales presentations and proposals.
  • Analyze sales data and provide insights for performance improvement.
  • Enhance customer relationships with clear, engaging communication.
  • Establish sales policies to optimize customer service.
  • Engage with customers, prepare quotes, and attend trade shows and meetings.
  • Contribute to business development strategies and inter-departmental planning sessions.
  • Deliver tailored technical presentations to key audiences.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in planning and executing sales strategies.
  • Strong technical sales and customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in market research and data analysis.
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge (preferred).
  • Familiarity with digital sales platforms (a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving abilities.
