Job Description

Vert is rapidly growing and we are in need of a safe driving courier. The Field Courier is responsible for picking up samples from field technicians in the field and delivering them to the correct laboratory for analysis. The Field Courier works closely with all field technicians and the Project Coordinator Manager to coordinate sample/supply pick-ups and drop-offs. Potential candidates should be aware that this position involves operating a company vehicle between multiple locations for the majority of the workday. Candidates should also be aware that this position requires being able to independently manage your own schedule as well as analyzing field technician schedules and locations to determine the most effective and efficient courier routes. Benefits Included: • Medical • Dental • Vision • Paid Vacation/Sick Time • 401k • Various discounts on travel/entertainment/wellness/gym membership, etc. • Fleet Car • Cell phone Responsibilities: • Picking up samples from field technicians in the field and delivering them to laboratories for analysis. • Informing and making recommendations on priority projects for pick up and delivery with Project Coordinator Manager. • Frequent and consistent communication with the Project Coordinator Manager in order to streamline the process of routing to field technicians for sample pick-ups. • Delivering supplies and paperwork to field technicians in the field as needed. • Keeping company vehicles clean, organized, and up to date with any maintenance needed. • Keeping field technician supply rooms organized. • Reports directly to the Field Technician Manager and the Project Coordinator Manager. Skills • Must be able to operate a company vehicle for 8+ hours daily. • Excellent verbal and communication skills, personable and client service oriented. • Must be a self-starter, as most duties are taken on and handled independently. • Must be detail-oriented and accurate. • Must have exceptional organizational skills. • Ability to manage your own schedule and assess the schedules of the field technicians as it relates to coordinating sample pick-ups or supply drop-offs. • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to simultaneously manage various projects and communicate with employees, clients, etc. • The ability to work under the pressure of coordinating with multiple field technicians simultaneously. • Independently use good judgment to utilize downtime efficiently and effectively. Qualifications: Qualifications • High School Diploma or Equivalent. • Preferred courier experience of at least 1 year.
