Job Description

Seeking a Construction Project Sales Lead having existing relationships with construction general contractors, private developers, civil engineering firms, and other municipal water works officials involved with the design and construction of new water supply and distribution projects planned throughout Western Washington. You will own all critical customer and contractor relationships as you drive sales growth by closing new water works construction projects.

Qualifications include:

  • BS/BA in Business Management, Construction Management, Environmental Services, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of direct Sales, Estimating, or Project Management experience related to water supply construction projects, expansion of municipal water utilities, water main piping and hydrants, underground water distribution, sewer, storm drains, water collection, or septic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil and mechanical schematics, construction drawings, and site plans.
  • Knowledge of material take-off methods and bid package preparations are a plus.
  • Well-rounded mechanical aptitude and familiarity with water works products including pipes (PVC, steel, precast concrete, etc.), irrigation systems, hydronics, hydrants, pumps, fittings, valves, couplings, and water meters.
  • Strong competitive drive with consistent track record of high achievement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to develop and close new projects.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
