About the Role:

Position: Construction Manager- Data Centers

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Summary:

We are seeking a Construction Manager to join a fast-paced project team. The primary role is to plan, direct, and coordinate various construction activities, including engineering, product roll-out, and systems development. This position requires overseeing projects to ensure an accelerated construction schedule is met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage multiple construction projects, creating detailed plans and directing technical activities.
• Present proposals, reports, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage a team by recruiting, assigning tasks, and evaluating the performance of employees while ensuring their professional development.
• Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to evaluate and plan the feasibility of construction projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, production, and marketing, to define project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend contracts and cost estimates to ensure projects stay on budget and within scope.

Required Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management techniques.
• Familiarity with business and management principles in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Proficiency in software such as Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and others.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification is preferred not mandatory.
• 5-7 years of experience in construction management, particularly in fast-paced environments.

• Experience with industrial electrical builds .
• Demonstrated experience in data center construction .
• Progressive career growth, with field experience and a strong background in managing complex projects.

Salary Range: $120000 - 130000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
