Gpac is partnered with a boutique wealth management firm with over 20 years in the industry to identify a CPA with a tax specialization to join their team.

The compensation includes a percentage of the company revenue, and the firm has shown consistent growth year over year, making it an exciting time to join their team.

Responsibilities:

* Handle taxes and accounting for the firm
* Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for the firm using tax software
* Review previous tax returns and financial documents to identify missing or incomplete information or documentation
* Conduct tax research and assist with audit preparation
* Ability to understand and apply tax laws and changes in the preparation process
* Maintain and update annually fixed asset list in tax software
* Potential to work closely with financial advisors and clients on tax planning strategies
* Assist with financial reporting and analysis

Requirements:

* CPA certification
* Degree in accounting or taxation preferred
* 5-8 years of experience in tax accounting
* Experience within an investment management firm is ideal
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
