Job description
A midtown hotel seeks a Bar Manager for our upscale roof top bar, roof at 66 park. The Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel located on prestigious Park Avenue near Grand Central Station. Roof at 66 park opened in July 2021 and features 1,400 sq. ft. of stylish indoor space as well as two large outdoor terraces with wonderful views of the Empire State Building and Midtown.
The Bar Manager should have knowledge of liquors, cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers as well as bartending knowledge. He or she will be supervising a staff of 10 Union employees including servers, bartenders, a cook, and stewards. Experience managing Union employees is preferred.
Experience with Micros Symphony POS system a plus. Also, experience with RESY a plus.
The position will also assist with hosting and seating guests. Business level is moderate.
The shift is from approximately 4:00pm to 12:30am, Tuesday to Saturday. Days off are Sunday and Monday. Paid vacation, sick days, and an employee meal are offered.
