Job Description

Desert Sage OB/Gyn is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will provide medical services to patients under the guidance of a physician.

The ideal person for this type of role is a good listener, outgoing and compassionate, organized and adaptable and an excellent problem solver. This vital role greets our patients, displays professionalism, and maintains confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide patient-care services – Room patients, reconcile medical and prescription history.
• Support Physicians - Perform minor patient care issues such as as immunizations, injections, assisting with minor surgeries.
• Other duties: –  Answer phones, take messages and report test results and respond to patient care issues in conjunction with the physician.

Requirements: 

• Certified Medical Assistant Diploma
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Previous OB/Gyn experience is preferred

About Desert Sage OB/Gyn:

Desert Sage OB/Gyn is a smaller practice with an amazing team. We have been located at this location for over 15 years and our employee tenure is unmatched. Currently we are open Monday - Thursday with work hours from 7:30am - 5:30pm. Yes, 10 hour days, allowing for a four day work week and every weekend is a 3 day weekend. The benefits are amazing.
